Observatories
The Observatories and the Projects, together with the professional and administrative structure of the Cercle d'Economia, have to constitute the base of the activity of the Cercle and of the participation and implication of their members in the work of the institution.
The creation, denomination and areas of attention of the Observatories and Projects were incorporated into the Program of the candidacy of the new Board of Directors and ratified in his first meeting.
Each of the Observatories will be coordinated by two members of the Board of Directors and will have between 6 and 8 components (that have to be associates of the Cercle) near to the object of the group.
The 4 Observatories and their coordinators and members are:
- Economy: Andreu Mas-Colell and Teresa García Milà.
- Energy and climate change: Antón Costas and Miquel Nadal.
- Infrastructures and environment: Àngel Simón and Pilar de Torres.
- Quality of Democracy and social transformations: Josep Ramoneda and Juan José Lopez Burniol.
